I think trials are awfully stuffy affairs but I had to go today, during my lunch hour. Xander looked so small. I just wanted to hug him.

I finally came home from St Mungo's today. The Healer said that I was lucky, that it was a good thing I came in early so that it didn't get too bad. I've still got horrible spots that look like oddly-coloured freckles and acne spots but if I don't scratch them, they won't scar and I won't be contagious anymore. I'm avoiding itching them as best I can, because I don't want to have to be quarantined and wait until they've crusted over again. I even miss work.
I haven't missed Mr Black's funeral, have I? I really want to go. I can't believe he's dead.

The members of the Order of the Phoenix think they're such bloody comedians, but this isn't funny. They can make all the jokes about purist Death Eaters they like, but they're criminals too and their pathetic sense of superiority doesn't change that. And I'm tired of them hijacking the wireless.

Today is such a happy day! Today, my venomous tentacula has grown from eating little rodents like mice and things to medium-sized animals! I've never been prouder of him. I've never grown a venomous tentacula this large before, either. I'm just so happy!

Maybe this is a bit too optimistic but I think Tinworth might be safer now. I mean, the Muggles are gone. There's nothing to do there anymore. The Death Eaters can should can go somewhere else. And I can see my father and my brother again, not rotting to death. I wonder what happened to Mrs Crawley's dog. I hated that dog. It always tore up my gardens when I lived there.
